Swimsanity! Update Roadmap

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to give you an update on what we have been working on ever since Swimsanity released 2 weeks ago. We hope you have been enjoying as much as we have, and we want you to know we are aiming to make things even better. Over the past couple weeks, we have heard a lot of feedback from players all over the world and we have a road map to address some of your best feedback all this year!

We break it down into online experience, solo play, and overall difficulty. We are addressing all these focus areas through a series of updates. Here is what you can expect coming soon…

Update 1.1.0 - Online Experience:

· Single Matchmaking Server – We have seen minimal connection issues playing with users around the world, so we decided to make everyone matchmake on the same server. This should make finding a random match easier. The game will now automatically determine the best server for all players playing.

· Custom Room Browsing – You can now browse and join public custom rooms without using a code. This means you can see who is playing and waiting for players online. This should make it also easier to find players waiting to play.

Update 2.0 - Solo Play and Difficulty Balancing:

· Solo Adventure – We now have a version of Adventure made just for solo play! We understand that a lot of people like to play Adventure on their own and right now our game is honestly too hard to be enjoyed by yourself. This will change with the all new Solo Adventure which will have scaled difficulty and 3 revives per each play.

· Cleaner Bot Selection – We also realized that our ability to add bots in menus is confusing right now, and a lot of people don’t even realize the ability is there. Now, before any match you start the game will ask if you want to fill remaining empty player slots with bots, and then auto populate them for you.

· Adventure Difficulty Balancing – We admit…our game is too hard! For now. We hope to address this and balance the over the top challenge for more rewarding and enjoyable gameplay. For starters we added a lot more checkpoints giving you more chances to revive fallen teammates. We also made it so checkpoints restore your health and teleports. So, rush to those checkpoints to extend your play!

· Survival Wave Balancing – Survival is fun but some of the waves are just a bit out of wack. We did a swoop through our waves in the game to clean up any largely out balanced waves. Hopefully making that wave 30 challenge much more realistic to accomplish.

· Enemy Balancing – We are doing some nerfing of enemies across the board, specifically the small guys who take too many shots to take out. You will find it much easier to take out the various jellyfish and crabs of the world once this update rolls out.

· In Game Tutorials – We are adding several queues and in game hints to help you out through out the several adventure levels. This should make sure you are best equipped to accomplish in game objectives.

· PS4 Release – We are excited to announce that the soon to be announced PS4 version will have both Update 1.1 and 2.0 included!

Post Release 2.0:

DLC – We are already hard at work on our first DLC pack. And while we are not announcing details today, we can tell you that we are excited about the new variety it will add to gameplay.

Tournaments – More competitive matches, champions, heartbreak, and prizes soon to come.

Building Online Community – Being first time indies releasing our first game we knew our work was ahead of us for creating an active online community. And while we have had a lot of fun seeing our current players enjoy play sessions, we can tell you we are making some BIG moves behind the scenes to bring large numbers to the servers. So, stick with us as we grow this thing.
